MEDUSA · inspired by the delicate, ethereal shape and movement of a jellyfish, this sculptural piece brings together an extraordinary fragment of Paua shell with a cascade of iridescent pearls.

At its centre lies an exceptional piece of Paua shell, which we have cut, sanded and polished by hand to reveal its full natural spectrum of deep blue, violet, yellow and green tones. Each surface catches and reflects the light in its own unique way.

Long Keshi pearls of exceptional quality cascade from the shell, revealing delicate natural reflections in silver and blue tones. Among them, small yellow Keshi pearls and delicate freshwater pearls in shades of blue add subtle touches of colour. Fine 925 sterling silver hooks complete the composition.

The individual strands of pearls move freely with the body, creating an organic and fluid silhouette reminiscent of a jellyfish’s tentacles — delicate in movement yet striking in presence.

The entire composition is suspended from a soft lilac organza ribbon, adding an unexpected touch of colour and lightness to the sculptural structure.
