NEREÏDE NECKLACE

On one side, the shell reveals a delicate play of iridescent reflections in shades of pink, turquoise, green and blue, shifting with the light and movement. The necklace can also be worn on both sides: when turned around, it reveals a completely different pattern dominated by intense turquoise tones with delicate pink reflections. One piece, two distinct appearances.

Cascading from the shell is a composition of different types of Keshi pearls and small freshwater pearls, carefully selected for their shapes and tones. Each pearl has been individually threaded and hand-attached at different lengths to the shell, creating an organic interplay of movement and layers.

The central piece is suspended from a 925 sterling silver hook and combined with two long organza ribbons in light blue and turquoise. Numerous small freshwater pearls and Keshi pearls have been individually sewn onto the ends of the ribbons, complementing and echoing the colours and patterns of the shell.

The ribbons are approximately 1 metre long, allowing the necklace to be adjusted to the desired length with a simple knot or wrapped around the neck like a scarf, creating different ways to wear the piece.
