RUBRA NECKLACE

RUBRA · one necklace, two versions.

At the heart of this extraordinary necklace is a unique red abalone shell, crossed by delicate brown tones that enhance its natural shape and character. Both the outer and inner surfaces of the shell are carefully decorated by hand with small reddish Keshi pearls and tiny freshwater pearls in shades of red, gold and silver. Every detail has been thoughtfully placed to complement the colors, shape and presence of the shell.

The design continues around the neck with beautiful Keshi pearls in golden and coral tones, all with highly organic and irregular shapes. Among them appear the same small reddish Keshi pearls with delicate floral shapes that decorate the shell, creating a visual connection between all the elements.

But RUBRA hides a second version. The necklace can be worn on either side of the shell: with its red outer surface facing outward, where warm and earthy tones dominate, or with its nacreous inner surface facing outward, revealing a fascinating play of rainbow colors as it catches the light.

Simply turning the shell completely transforms the character of the necklace. One piece, two ways to wear it, and two entirely different worlds of color.
